Here is a guide to our handy Mentions extension:

Step 1:

To use this extension, first go to the module and then select the record for which you want to add a comment.

Step 2:

While adding a comment for any employee add the “@” symbol with the name of the member and the message you want to give. The user will get notified through email.

Step 3:

To access and view the records user whom you mentioned can click on the @ icon on their Vtiger’s top bar.

Step 4:

On clicking this button a screen will be displayed showing all the comments related to the user.

Step 5:

From here the user can directly reply to each comment, or go to the related record for further processing.

Step 6:

When the user responds to any comment it moves to the replied comments keeping it separate from the new comments.
